About The Program
The DRDO-IRDE Dehradun Junior Research Fellowship 2026 is an opportunity provided by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. To be eligible, an applicant must:

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 5: Click ‘View’ and ‘Yes’ on the pop-up that opens up.
Step 6: Download the application form. Fill in all the mentioned details and send it via speed post mentioned “APPLICATION FOR JRF ENGAGEMENT” to Director, IRDE, Dehradun
(Note: Applicants are required to submit crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs. 10/- drawn in favour of “The
Director, IRDE, Dehradun”. SC/ST/OBC applicants are exempted.)
Step 7: Email a single PDF containing your signed application, educational certificates, proof of age, GATE/NET scores, and caste certificate (if applicable) to director.irde@gov.in by the closing date.
