About The Program
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Young Research Fellowship 2024 is an opportunity provided by the Technology, Education, Research and Rehabilitation for the Environment (TERRE) Policy Center* to students pursuing or have completed undergraduate, postgraduate or Ph.D. degree in any field related to environmental research. The fellowship aims to distinguish young researchers in India who have made significant contributions or have a measurable impact on environmental protection. Selected fellows will receive a fellowship of up to ₹25,000 and a certificate.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a citizen of India
- be between 18-25 years of age
- be pursuing or have completed an undergraduate or master's degree in any field (M.Sc./M.E./M.A.) or Ph.D. degree in a related field
- have made notable research contributions in the field of environmental protection/improvement, from work carried out in India
- display extraordinary promise and creativity
Benefits
Selected fellows will receive a fellowship of up to ₹25,000 (minimum amount ₹10,000) along with a certificate.
