About The Program

DOA Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to economically weaker sections of society in the state who are admitted to professional courses. Selected students will receive a reimbursement of up to 100% of tuition and exam fees.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category
  • be enrolled in a professional course at a government/non-government aided/partially aided-unaided/permanent unaided college or non-agricultural university and sub-centres (excluding private universities/self-financed private universities) under the Directorate of Art
  • have taken admission under the general category
  • have a family income of up to ₹8,00,000
  • not availed of any other scholarship or stipend
  • not have an educational gap of two years

Note:- Candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State and Karnataka state border are also eligible to apply for the scheme.

How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captch and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • Only the first two children are eligible for the scheme.
  • The applicant must attempt every semester or annual exam.
  • Students who have taken admission to distance education, virtual learning, or part-time courses are not eligible.
