DOA Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Art, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to the EWS category students pursuing professional courses in the recognised institutions of the state. The selected students will receive up to ₹30,000 for 10 months.

Deadline31-Mar-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- be a child of registered labour/alpabhudarak (marginal land holder)
- be enrolled in a professional course government/non-government aided/partially aided-unaided/permanent unaided college and non-agricultural universities and sub-centers (excluding private universities/self-financed private universities) which falls under the Directorate of Art Department
- have taken admission under the general category
- be a hosteller (govt/private hostel/paying guest/tenant)
- have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000
- not be availing any other Nirvah Bhatta benefit
Benefits The selected candidates will receive the following benefits for a duration of 10 months as follow:-
Category For child of Registered Labor/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) (in ₹ for 10 months) For students having an annual family income of up to ₹1,00,000 (in ₹ for 10 months) For students having an annual family income of between ₹1,00,000-₹8,00,000 (in ₹ for 10 months) For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City 30,000 10,000 10,000 For institutes in other areas 20,000 8,000 8,000 Documents - Domicile certificate

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

- The Government Resolution states that the scheme is only available for the first two children of a family.
