About The Program

The Design Scholarship Test (DST) 2025-26 is conducted by MIT Institute of Design, Indore - Avantika University. The scholarship is a prestigious merit-based award designed to support creative students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate design programs. The qualified students will receive scholarships ranging from 20% to 50% off tuition fees for 1 year based on their DST performance.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
For BDes Program:

  • have completed 10+2 from any stream (State board/CBSE/ICSE/ISC/CIE/IB)
  • secure 50% aggregate marks in the 12th examination
  • obtain a valid score in the Design Scholarship Test (DST)

For MDes Program:

  • be a graduate from any stream
  • secure 50% aggregate marks in the UG degree
  • obtain a valid score in the Design Scholarship Test (DST)

Note:- The scholarship will be decided based on the percentage of average marks of both DST Written Exam and TCPI (The Creative Potential Index) Rounds.

Benefits

The qualified students will receive the following benefits:-
For BDes Program:

  • 50% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing 90% and above score in DST
  • 35% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 80% - 89% score in DST
  • 20% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 70% - 79% score in DST

For MDes Program:

  • 50% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing 90% and above score in DST
  • 35% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 80% - 89% score in DST
  • 20% scholarship on tuition fee for candidates securing between 70% - 79% score in DST
Documents
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates (for BDes applicants)
  • Graduation degree and mark sheets (for MDes applicants)
  • Valid identity proof
  • Passport-size photograph
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and click on the ‘tick box’ button, and then click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button.
Step 5: An automated verification link will be sent to your registered email ID. Activate your account by clicking on it.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 7: Fill in the required fields and upload the required documents.
Step 8: Accept the declaration and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Note:- The admit card will be sent to the registered email once the document verification process is completed.

  • Performance in the Design Scholarship Test (DST) Written Exam
  • Performance in TCPI (Thinking Challenge and Personal Interview ) Rounds
  • Average percentage of both DST and TCPI scores
  • Academic merit
Terms and Conditions
  • Scholarship is available only on 1st year's tuition fee.
  • The scholarship will be processed in the 2nd semester.
  • Scholarship percentage is based on the average marks of both the DST Written Exam and TCPI Rounds.
  • Candidates must complete both DST and TCPI rounds for final scholarship allocation.
