About The Program

The Dasra Fellowship Program (Cohort II) 2025 is provided by Dasra* for fresh graduates interested in a career of social change in India. It provides a year-long, immersive experience in the development sector, fostering leadership skills and connecting individuals with a purpose-driven peer community. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹35,000 plus other benefits.

*Dasra is a prominent catalyst for social change in India, bringing together philanthropists, NGOs, and communities to collaboratively tackle difficult challenges. The organisation focuses on dignity and equity and facilitates partnerships across various sectors, including youth, climate, and gender issues. Through its efforts, Dasra supports thousands of nonprofits across the country.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree
  • be passionate about social impact and community leadership
  • be eager to learn, work in person, and contribute to real projects
  • be committed to diversity and inclusion

Note:-

  • Individuals from underrepresented communities (SC/ST/OBC, first-generation learners, those with limited financial means) are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • No prior experience is required for this fellowship.
Benefits

Selected students will receive:-

  • Monthly stipend: ₹35,000.
  • Provided resources: laptop, notebook, welcome kit, and well-being support.
  • Learning fund: ₹5,000 for additional courses or personal development.
  • Direct mentorship and access to Dasra’s sector network.
  • Hands-on experience, training program, and career development in the social sector.

  • A duly filled application form
  • Motivation Essay (500–800 words), or Video Recording (under 5 mins - Google Drive/YouTube unlisted)
  • Case Study Essay (800- 1000 words), or PowerPoint Presentation (6-8 Slides)

Note:- Files must not exceed the size of 10 MB.
