About The Program
Consolidated Stipend Scheme for Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters, Haryana 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Haryana to honour the grandchildren (3rd-Generation) of freedom fighters of the state. The scholarship aims to encourage these students to pursue higher education. The selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹1,000 for a year and a one-time book allowance of ₹2,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Haryana
- be a grandchild of a freedom fighter (3rd generation)
- be pursuing higher education in government or non-government aided colleges, or non-professional courses in state universities
- have attended a minimum of 50% of classes in the subsequent 3 months

- Proofs of being grandchildren of freedom fighters (3rd generation) recommended by District Administration
- Previous examinations passed based on which the applicants' have sought admission in the present class
How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to 'Student Registration' at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family ID), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant, and click on the 'Generate OTP' button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and Click on the 'Verify OTP' button.
Step 6: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, and cross-check the information.
Step 7: Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 8: Click the login link at the portal and enter valid credentials to apply for the scholarship.
Step 9: Provide all necessary details like course, roll no., eligibility etc.
Step 10: Click on the 'Apply' button to save and submit the application.

- The amount of the scholarship will be released only after obtaining the good conduct/ attendance certificate from the Principal/head of the institution where the student is studying.
- The students who failed last year's university examination will not be eligible for the incentive.
- It has also been envisaged under the scheme that if a student drops out of college but then rejoins and attends at least 50% of the classes in the subsequent three months, both the previously due instalment and the current quarter's instalment will be released.
- The scholarship amount will be released only after obtaining a good conduct and attendance certificate from the principal or head of the institution where the student is studying.
