About The Program
The Chief Minister’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme 2025 is offered by the Government of Assam. It offers one-time financial support to eligible full-time research scholars, including those who are differently abled. Selected candidates will receive a one-time assistance of up to ₹40,000.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a permanent resident of Assam
- be a full-time Research scholar from a public/government institution in Assam
- be admitted to a Ph.D. program in 2025
- not be a beneficiary of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme
- not be receiving high-value scholarships or benefits under other schemes (e.g., UGC JRF, CSIR)
- have an annual family income not exceeding ₹10 lakh
Note:-
- Applicants must not be employed.
- Parents of the applicants must not be employed in Public Offices (MLA, MPs or Ministers).
- Parents of the applicants must not be registered as contractors.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a one-time financial assistance as follows:-
- Research scholars: ₹25,000.
- Divyang scholars: ₹40,000.
