About The Program
The Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme, Meghalaya 2025, is an initiative of the Government of Meghalaya aimed at supporting meritorious students from the state in pursuing higher education. The scholarship provides financial assistance to help students cover tuition fees and academic expenses, thereby encouraging talent development and educational advancement.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a permanent resident of Meghalaya
- be enrolled in a recognised higher education institution (undergraduate/postgraduate level)
- demonstrate academic merit and financial need
Note:- Students pursuing the part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible for the scholarship.
Benefits
The selected students will receive financial support of ₹6,000 annually.
