About The Program
The Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by a partnership between the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Clore Leadership Programme. It offers mid-career professionals in the arts and culture sector an exceptional opportunity to undertake an individually tailored leadership programme in the UK. Selected fellows will receive course fees and other expenses.

To be eligible, a candidate must:-
- Be a citizen of India
- Not hold British or dual-British citizenship
- Intend to return to India after the end of their studies
- Have a good working knowledge of English
- Hold a degree equivalent to at least a UK second-class honours degree (minimum of 65-70% marks in Indian standard) or have equivalent professional training and/or experience
- Have completed at least five years or its equivalent work experience, by the end of 2024
- work in areas such as the visual and performing arts, museums, libraries, archives and heritage, film and digital media, and cultural policy and practice
- Have not already received or been receiving financial benefit from an HMG-funded scholarship or fellowship in the past five years
Note:- Employees/relatives of an employee of the UK government, the British Council, a sponsoring UK university or a staff of the Association of Commonwealth Universities are ineligible for this fellowship.

- Individually tailored fellowship learning plan in the UK (may include participation in professional development activities such as course conferences)

Terms and Conditions
- The candidates must not accept any other form of public funding during the tenure of the fellowship.
- Candidates must inform the Chevening secretariat/ fellowship committee of any funding/employment/internship opportunities outside of the fellowship program that they have applied for, or are offered, within the fellowship tenure.
- Candidates cannot change their course of study to something other than what is mentioned in their final award letter.
- Misinformation, misconduct, and failure to continue studies will result in the termination of the fellowship.
