About The Program

The BioWISE Scholarship 2025 is offered by the BeST Cluster in collaboration with Biocon Foundation and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS). This initiative aims to empower and support women from Karnataka pursuing advanced studies and careers in STEM, particularly in the life sciences. Selected students will receive scholarships, mentorship from leading experts, and exposure to career development opportunities.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a female student currently in the final year of Post-Graduate studies, or have completed a degree in the last year
  • have consistently demonstrated strong academic performance (minimum 75% marks in previous studies)
  • be enrolled in or graduated from a Tier 2 or Tier 3 college/university in Karnataka
  • demonstrate interest in applied research
  • have an annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000

 

Note:-

  • Students or relatives affiliated with Biocon Group, BeST, or NCBS are not eligible.
  • Preference will be given to first-generation learners.
