The BCWD Vidyasiri - Food and Accommodation Scholarship Scheme, Karnataka 2026-27 is offered by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. The objective of this scheme is to provide boarding and lodging assistance to students not admitted in government/ government-aided hostel/ residential colleges of any department. Selected candidates will receive ₹1,500 monthly.

Selected candidates will receive ₹1,500 for 10 months of the academic year. The amount will be credited online (RTGS) to the bank account opened in any of their Core Banking System Banks, subject to other conditions.
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on 'Click here to apply' and then on the blue colour box on the right side of the page stating 'CLICK HERE TO LOGIN TO SSP STUDENT ACCOUNT TO APPLY FOR POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR FY 2026-27'.
Step 4: Enter your Adhaar number and select 'CLICK TO PROCEED' to create an account and complete the Aadhaar registration process.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in with valid credentials.
Step 6: Follow the necessary steps to complete the application.
(Note: Students must successfully complete their NSP-OTR registration to avail this scholarship.)
