BCWD Vidyasiri - Food and Accommodation Scholarship Scheme, Karnataka 2026-27

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Karnataka
• belong to the OBC list notified by the central/state
• be pursuing postmatric courses in government/local body/aided institutions/recognised unaided private institutions under the statutory universities
• have an annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000 (Category 1) or ₹1,00,000 (Category 2A, 3A, 3B)
• have passed the previous year's annual examination with a minimum mark of 55% (Category 1) or 65% (others)

Note:-

• Students pursuing equivalent courses (B.Com after BA) are ineligible.
• Students who changed courses more than once are ineligible.
• Postgraduate medical students are ineligible if they are practising medicine during the duration of their course.
• Students must be from rural areas and live at least 5 km away from their college. Students from cities/towns studying in a different city/town are also eligible.
• Only two boys of the same family are eligible. However, this rule does not apply to girls.

Selected candidates will receive ₹1,500 for 10 months of the academic year. The amount will be credited online (RTGS) to the bank account opened in any of their Core Banking System Banks, subject to other conditions.

• Admission proof/ID proof

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on 'Click here to apply' and then on the blue colour box on the right side of the page stating 'CLICK HERE TO LOGIN TO SSP STUDENT ACCOUNT TO APPLY FOR POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR FY 2026-27'. 
Step 4: Enter your Adhaar number and select 'CLICK TO PROCEED' to create an account and complete the Aadhaar registration process.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in with valid credentials.
Step 6: Follow the necessary steps to complete the application.

(Note: Students must successfully complete their NSP-OTR registration to avail this scholarship.)
