Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2024-25

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be pursuing a diploma in Engineering or a degree in one of the following courses offered by a recognised institution in India:
  • B.A./B.A. (Hons)
  • B.Com./B.Com. (Hons)
  • B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)
  • D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
  • D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education)
  • B.Sc. in Hotel Management
  • B.B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration)
  • B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
  • M.Com. (Master of Commerce)
  • M.Sc. (Master of Science)
  • M.A. (Master of Arts)
  • M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications)
  • Diploma/degree or training in any Sport, Instrumental Music, or Vocal Music
• have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10 and 12 or equivalent examinations
• have an annual family income below ₹3,50,000

The following students/applicants shall not be eligible for a grant of financial assistance under this scholarship scheme:

• The students who have been admitted through the management/convener quota or any other quota of the university/educational institution.
• Students who have failed in any of the subjects in any of the previous semesters/years.
• Applicants who have been detained in any semester/year examination due to a shortage of attendance.
• Applicants who have been penalized by the university or the institute for any act of indiscipline during the course.
• Students who have taken scholarships from any other source.

Selected students will receive annual financial assistance of ₹50,000 per student or the tuition fee or annual fee, whichever is lower..

• Passport size photograph
• Marksheets of Class 10-12
• Pay slip and ITR form
• Affidavit (Part-III of Application Form)
• Copy of results of all semesters' examinations passed
• Copy of latest fee receipts issued by the university/institute
• Detailed fee structure including tuition fee, library, hostel, books, etc., duly signed by the administrator/principal of the institute
• Copy of student's passbook of saving bank account
• Copy of bank statements of all family members
• Admission slip/letter provided by the university/educational institution
• Copy of Aadhaar card/Ration card/Voter ID card/Passport/PAN card
• Copy of letter received previous year from Education Department, SNM (for old students only)   

Note:-

• All documents and testimonials submitted with the application form must be ticked and sealed with the form as confirmation that all necessary documents are attached. They should also be self-attested.
• Incomplete forms will not be considered for grant of scholarship. The candidate's name must be the same in all documents.

The students can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps - 
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Form of the Scholarship Scheme’ tab. 
Step 4: Download the application form and fill in the required details. 
Step 5: Send the duly filled application form along with all the required documents to the below address via post:
