About The Program
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship - Senior Level, Maharashtra 2026-27 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra. It provides financial assistance to students who have passed Class 12 and wish to pursue higher education. Selected students will receive a scholarship ranging from ₹2,800 to ₹72,000, depending on the course.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have passed Class 12 from recognised institutions/schools
- have secured the top rank in both the secondary and higher secondary examinations
- hold a sanction letter from the Director of Higher Education (DHE)
Benefits
Selected AMS Senior level students will receive scholarships ranging from ₹2,800 to ₹72,000 or more, depending on the course and government regulations.

- Previous year’s marksheet
- Current year’s fee receipt
- Hostel fee receipt
- DHE Scholarship sanction letter
How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the blue colour 'Register' button. Fill in your Aadhaar number, tick the checkbox, and click on 'Send OTP'
Step 4: Verify the OTP you receive and complete your registration.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

- This scheme is also open to Maharashtra students studying outside of the state.
- Students must maintain a minimum of 65% marks and successfully progress to the next academic year.
