About The Program
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship - Junior Level, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to students of Class 11 and 12 who wish to pursue higher education. Selected students will receive a scholarship ranging from ₹1,600 to ₹2,300, depending on the course.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- be a student of Class 11 or 12 in a recognised institution/school
- have achieved top ranks in the secondary and higher secondary examinations
- hold a DHE-sanctioned letter
Benefits
Selected students at the AMS Junior level will be awarded a scholarship ranging from ₹1,600 to ₹2,300 or more, depending on the course, in accordance with government rules.

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

- This scheme is also open to Maharashtrian students studying outside Maharashtra.
- Students must maintain a minimum of 55% marks and continue to the next academic year to qualify for scholarship renewal.
