To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be predominantly first-generation college students from rural/semi-urban regions, including SC/ST communities
- be enrolled in Bachelor’s/Master’s programs relevant to the development sector
- have secured a minimum of 65% in the previous qualifying examination
- be actively involved in community service or social initiatives
- have a family annual income below ₹6,00,000
