About The Program
Anahad’s Fellowship Program 2025, offered by the Anahad Foundation, aims to cultivate deep expertise in cultural development and production skills while encouraging participants to explore the folk music of India. Over 3 months, fellows engage in immersive cultural research across various Indian states, discovering rare folk musical forms, designing cultural development programs, and empowering musicians through contemporary mediums

- be passionate about folk music and cultural heritage preservation
- have a commitment towards bringing change to their communities
- be willing to engage in immersive cultural research across various Indian states
- have an interest in cultural development and production skills (extensive professional experience not always necessary)
Note:- This fellowship is designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills, rather than reward pre-existing expertise.

The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000, along with other benefits.
