About The Program
The ABCD Future Environmental Leaders Scholarships 2026 are offered by the Global Water and Climate Adaptation Centre – Aachen, Bangkok, Chennai, Dresden (ABCDCentre). The scholarship is a prestigious, fully-funded research opportunity designed to support outstanding doctoral students from the Global South pursuing environmental research. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of GBP 1,200 along with other benefits.

- be a doctoral student from a developing country in the Global South
- be currently enrolled as a full-time PhD student at a recognised research institution in their home country
- have started their PhD program within the last three years
Benefits
The selected students will be awarded a monthly stipend of EUR 1,200 (approx. ₹1,23,196.80) to assist with accommodation and living costs, in addition to the other benefits.
