About The Program

ZEISS Photography Award 2018 invites photographers from across the world. The theme for this year is “Seeing Beyond – Untold Stories” where photographers have to present a strong series of 5-10 images. The images must look beyond the ordinary one, mainly focussed to be understood in its broadest sense exploring a familiar theme in a different perspective. The result will be announced on April 3, 2018 and the winners will receive attractive prizes, including ZEISS lenses worth 12,000 euros and 3,000 euros to cover travel costs for a photo project.

All ambitious photographers from across the globe are eligible to apply.

How can you apply?

The application can be done online only by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the website and read all the details.
Step 2: Click on Enter Competition.
Step 3: If an individual is applying, they have to click on "Register as an individual" and if any Galleries or Agencies are applying they have to click on "Groups Registration".
Step 4: Register by providing Name, Country of Residence, email id, etc.
Step 5: A verification link will be sent to the registered email id, login and fill the form.

Terms and Conditions
  1. The competition is free for all.
  2. The number of images must be between 5 to 10.
  3. The participants must be above 18 years.
  4. Size of the Images should be between 1MB to 5MB and in JPEG format.
  5. All images must be saved in the RGB color model and EXIF data must be left in the image file.

The awards ceremony will be held in London on April 19, 2018 and the winning and the selected photos from the shortlist will simultaneously be presented at the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition. The winner will be invited to the company’s headquarters in Germany.
