Young Scientist Fellowship Scheme (YSFS) 2019 invites applications from candidates having Master's or Ph.D. degree. The fellowship aims to encourage young scientists and researchers to get themselves acquainted with the latest techniques in research and development.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - The candidate must have completed his/her Master's or PhD degree in the relevant disciplines.
- The candidate must be below the age of 40 years.
- The candidate must hold a regular position in the parent institution and avail leave with pay from the parent institution during the period of the fellowship.
Benefits The selected candidates will get a fellowship amount of INR 10,000 per month.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply by following the steps mentioned below:

Terms and Conditions
- The duration of the fellowship will be from 2 months to 6 months.
- The venue of the fellowship must be outside of Tamilnadu.
- The candidate must take the permission from the Parent and Host Institution for the training and thus, enclose the same with the completed application form.
- The candidate will also get travel assistance, i.e., to and fro from the Parent institution to the Host institution by shortest route by rail (II AC).
