Kent State University is offering You Are Welcome Here Scholarship 2019 for undergraduate degree applicants. This will provide financial support for incoming international students who are committed to furthering the #YouAreWelcomeHere message through the intercultural exchange that bridges divide at their future campuses and beyond. The selected candidates will receive an award of up to USD 9000 per year.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Qualify as international freshman & graduation from or attendance at a secondary school outside the U.S.
- Intend to pursue an undergraduate degree
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on US 4.0 scale
- Have an unconditional admission to Kent State University as a freshman
- Have demonstrated interest and initiative in promoting intercultural learning and exchange
Note: Graduate, exchange, visiting, ESL or current students are not eligible for this scholarship.
Benefits Two annual, renewable scholarships are offered to students covering a minimum of 50% tuition to selected international undergraduates. This renewable award ranges from USD 8,000 - USD 9,000 per year.

Step 3: Provide a personal statement of 500 to 1000 words or the link of a 2- to 5-minute video describing the applicant's aspirations to conduct projects, research, etc.
