About The Program

William P. Heidrich Research Fellowships 2019 invites applications from applicants of 18 years of age or above to carry out research in residence. The fellowship will support all types of research projects including creative, academic, journalistic, etc. The key objective of the fellowship is to support research projects that require substantial on-site usage of Joseph A. Labadie Collection.

An applicant must -
  • Be 18 years of age or above
Note: No other academic credentials are required for this fellowship.
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive -
  • USD 1,500 for a project that requires a residence of one week or more
  • USD 3,000 for a project that requires a residence of three weeks or more
Documents
  • Project proposal of 500 words or less describing the topic of research and why Labadie Collection Materials are centrally required for the work 
  • Personal statement of 500 words or less to support the application
  • Two letters of support
  • A resume or CV
