About The Program
Vishwa Konkani Student Engineering Scholarship 2024 is an opportunity offered by the World Konkani Centre (a non-profit organisation) to support promising Konkani-speaking students of any caste or religion who are pursuing undergraduate engineering degrees. Selected students will receive scholarship support of ₹50,000 and other benefits.
About World Konkani Centre:
The World Konkani Centre is a dedicated institution focused on preserving and promoting the Konkani language, art, and culture on a global scale. It was established as a response to the mandate given by the First World Konkani Convention in 1995.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have Konkani as their mother tongue
- are enrolled in the first year of an engineering course in 2024
- have scored above 80% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)/Physics, Chemistry, Biology(PCB)-II PUC
- have secured a rank of 30,000 or below in KCET or a meritorious seat in any other entrance exam
- have a total family income of less than ₹5,00,000 per annum
- are willing to sponsor two more students after employment
Benefits
Each selected candidate will be awarded a scholarship of ₹50,000. In addition to the monetary scholarship, a skill development and mentoring program will be offered throughout the engineering course. By applying, candidates agree to participate in this valuable development program.
