Terms and conditions

Excess baggage offer

1. Excess baggage is valid on tickets issued in Economy only till 31 December 2016.
2. Any excess baggage over and above 69 kg (3 bags at 23kg) in Economy will be charged the applicable excess baggage fee.
3. Students need to show their valid student visa at the airport to avail the extra baggage allowance.
4. This excess baggage offer shall be allowed only on the outbound journey ex India and will not be valid on the return sector.
5. This excess baggage offer shall be allowed only on the outbound journey and till first stopover point only.
6. The special student baggage allowance is only permitted on Virgin Atlantic flights out of India and Virgin's regular baggage allowance will apply.
7. This offer is valid only on tickets issued from India point of sale.
8. 9. Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to change or withdraw the offer without prior notice.

FoC Date Change Offer

1. Free date change is valid for bookings made in any class.
2. Only one date change is allowed free of cost to the students but any change in the fare and taxes shall be charged.
3. For any date changes post the first date change, charges will be as applicable along with any change in fare plus taxes. To make a date change, please call our India Contact Centre at 1800 102 3000 or +91 124 4693030.
4. This offer is valid until 31 December 2016.
5. This offer is valid only on tickets issued from India point of sale.
6. Students need to present a proof of their Student Visa, I20 or CAS letter at the time of availing the offer by sending an email to india.reservations@fly.virgin.com (opens in a new window) with the copy of the said documents.
