- Be students in the schools of Tamil Nadu
- Have completed standard 12 or awaiting results from CBSE/State Board/ISC/Cambridge
Note: Students of A-Level Biology/Computer Science/Commerce/Vocational are eligible to apply.
Benefits
The scholarships will be given under different categories. For each category, the students stand a chance to get a scholarship of up to 100% fee waiver depending on their academic scholarship bracket. Different categories of scholarships include –
For Engineering Programmes scholarship
VEE Marks Obtained
- VEE score 90-100: 100% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score 80-89.99: 75% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score 70-79.99: 50% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score 60-69.99: 30% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score 50-59.99: 25% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score 40-49.99: 20% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
- VEE score less than 40: 10% in the tuition fee for the 1st Year
Marks in the qualifying exam (Any Board)
- 95% and above aggregate in PCM- 50% waiver in the tuition fee for 1st Year
- 90% – 94.99% aggregate in PCM- 40% waiver in the tuition fee for 1st Year
- 80% – 89.99% aggregate in PCM- 25% waiver in the tuition fee for 1st Year
- 70% – 79.99% aggregate in PCM- 10% waiver in the tuition fee for 1st Year
Note: 1st Graduate: Concession fee for B.E courses 10% for every year
For MBA Programs:
Percentile in CAT/ MAT
- More than 98% - 50% of Tuition Fees
- 96% - 97% - 30% of Tuition Fees
- 90% - 95% - 20% of Tuition Fees

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Register on the official website with a valid email ID and password.
Step 3: Verify and confirm the registration message sent through SMS/E-mail.
Step 4: Once registered, fill up the application form with valid details.
Step 5: Submit all the necessary documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 for Professional courses and INR 500 for others through debit/credit card or net banking.

The selection of the scholars will be based on academic merit as well as sports quota.

Terms and Conditions
- Candidates should meet the necessary age and eligibility requirements for the Programme / Courses concerned.
- V-SAT scholarship is applicable only for the Programme / Courses mentioned in the V-SAT Flyer.
- Only a limited number of seats in each Programme / Course is reserved for the V-SAT Scholarship. If more than the reserved number of the students opt for the same course, the courses will be allotted to students based on the V-SAT Ranking and mark scored, subject to availability. The remaining students will be given the option to choose from other available Courses/Programmes.
- In case of a tie between more than one candidate, priority shall be given to the time taken for completion of the V-SAT test, or as per the discretion of the authorities of VISTAS.
- After the written examination, shortlisted candidates should attend a Personal Interview.
- Based on the rankings, V-SAT rank holders can avail of 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% & 100% scholarships in the tuition fee. The scholarship is applicable only on the tuition fee payable and all other fees will have to be paid by the candidate.
- Each candidate should indicate a clear communication address and contact number and should inform if there is any change in the same.
- The V-SAT scholarship candidates selected should submit Identity card, proof of age, Aadhaar, Community Certificate, etc., as required.
- Selected students have to enroll in the Programme/Course within the stipulated period of time prescribed in the selection order. In case of any delay, the selection offer will be automatically canceled.
- Students interested in VSAT have to get the updated information regarding the entrance exam and selection list from the website of VISTAS or VSAT Helpdesk by themselves.
- VISTAS authorities will not be responsible/liable for communicating directly to the student in any part of VSAT till the commencement of the admission process.
- Aspirants who want to pursue their higher education in VISTAS are advised to directly approach the Admission office at Pallavaram or visit velsuniv.ac.in, for all relevant information. All disputes are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai.
- The decision of the authorities of VISTAS shall be final and binding on the ranking of all the test participants of V-SAT and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
