About The Program
Vellore Institute of Technology invites applications for Vellore Institute of Technology School of Civil Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from ME/MTech degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Development of Forewarning System for Landslides in The Nilgiris.” The selected candidate will receive a stipend of INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA (for first two years) and INR 35,000 per month + 8% HRA (for the third year).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an ME/MTech degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Have GATE qualification
- Have exposure and knowledge in field investigation, landslide analysis, geotechnical instrumentation, sensors, MASW tests, slope stability analysis using PLAXIS3D, FLAC2D, SLOPEW
