About The Program
Vellore Institute of Technology Department of Biotechnology Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Tech/M.Sc degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Investigation on the Mechanism of Mucoadhesionand Transcytosis of Microglial Exosomes and its Biomimetic Nanoconstructs for Nose-to-Brain Delivery of Peptide Therapeutics.”. The NET/GATE qualified candidates will receive a stipend of INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month plus 8% HRA for the third year.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.Sc., /M. Tech. degree (Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Nanotechnology) with a minimum of 55% marks
Required Skill Set: Candidates with research experience in cell culture, molecular biology, and nanomedicine
Note - Preference will be given for students with NET and/or GATE qualifications.
