About The Program

Valeo Group invites applications for the Valeo Innovation Challenge 2018 from students who have completed their high school and are in higher education, i.e. studying in university. The aim of this competition is to encourage students to come up with innovative ideas to use cars and also reward the best innovative project.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • The students must have completed high school.
  • The students must have enrolled in higher education, i.e., pursuing graduation or post graduation.
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply through the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the website in order to apply.
Step 2: Register as a new user.
Step 3: Register in a team of 2 to 5 person.
Step 4: Present the idea in an mp4 video pitch of maximum 3 minutes with 5 slides about the team; the problem and the proposed technical solution; the target market and the business model.
Step 5: Then, submit the application.

Awards and Prizes

  • EURO 200,000 will be shared among top three teams. They will be offered the opportunity to join Valeo’s business accelerator.
  • To accelerate the project, 9 finalist teams will be given 16 weeks and they will get a chance to pitch in Paris.
