About The Program
The Urdu Scholarship, Kerala 2026, is offered by the Directorate of Minority Welfare to promote the Urdu language and to recognize students who have achieved excellent academic performance in Urdu as a language subject. Selected students will receive an award of ₹1,000.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a permanent resident of Kerala
- have secured an A+ grade in all subjects in the SSLC examination with Urdu as the First Language, OR
- have secured an A+ grade in all subjects in the Higher Secondary Examination with Urdu as the Second Language
Note: Students who are receiving other scholarships are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Selected students will receive an award of ₹1000.

- Printed copy of the application registration form
- Copy of SSLC/Plus Two mark list
- Copy of the first page of the bank passbook in the applicant’s own name containing:
- Applicant’s name
- Account number
- Branch code
- Branch address
