About The Program
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), recognized by UGC and NACC, is conducting UPES-DAT entrance exam for students (B.Des and M.Des aspirants) who wish to get admitted into design courses at UPES. The selected students will be awarded a teaching assistantships worth INR 3000 per month. The M.Des students have to obtain 80 percentile in UCEED or UPES-DAT to avail the assistantship.

To be eligible, M.Des degree applicants are required to have:
- Earned minimum SGPA/CGPA of 7.5 in the 1st semester and subsequent semesters/year.
- Passed every semester examination at the first attempt besides regular attendance, disciplined and exemplary behaviour and compliance with all other norms.
For B.Des applicants -
- Should have obtained 80% marks in Class 10th and 12th
- Should be CBSE, ICSE and State Boards pass out students (10% seats in each program)
Benefits
M.Des applicants will receive INR 3000 per month and B.Des applicants will receive a 50% tuition fee waiver.
