About The Program
The University of Sydney invites applications for University of Sydney Geoffrey Parsons Australian Scholarship 2020 from students who wish to undertake studies as a piano accompanist or opera répétiteur at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Selected students will get scholarship benefits as determined by the dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be enrolled or have an unconditional offer to study a full-time coursework or research degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music
- Plan to undertake further study as either a piano accompanist or opera répétiteur

Selected students will get scholarship benefits as determined by the dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

No application is necessary for this scholarship. Eligible students will be considered for this scholarship as part of their admission application to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- All scholarship offers are conditional upon evidence that the student meets the selection criteria.
- The scholarship will be awarded in alternate years to an applicant studying either piano accompanist or opera répétiteur.
- Deferral of the scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of the relevant Associate Dean and it is not transferable to another honours program, faculty/University school or University.
- The scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
- To continue receipt of the scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum WAM of 65 each semester.
- Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
