About the Program

The University of Sydney, Australia invites applications for University of Sydney Faculty of Science Honours Relocation Scholarships 2021 from undergraduate students. The scholarship aims to support interstate and rural or remote NSW to study an honours degree in the Faculty of Science. Selected students will receive AUD 6,000.

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Be a commencing honours student enrolling full-time
    • Have completed his/her undergraduate degree at a university overseas, interstate or in rural or remote NSW
    • Have achieved a minimum Science Weighted Average Mark (SCIWAM) of 80, or equivalent

    Selected students will receive AUD 6,000 tenable for one year only.

    No application is required, as eligible candidates will be considered automatically.

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Terms and Conditions
  • The successful candidates will be advised by email prior to or at the start of the relevant semester.
  • Continuing students currently enrolled in an honours program within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney are not eligible.
  • The scholarship value will be paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
  • The scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
  • To continue receipt of the scholarship the recipient must maintain a full-time enrolment and successfully meet the academic requirements of their Honours program. 
  • The scholarship will be awarded on the nomination by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, or their nominee.
