About The Program

The University of Surrey Scholarship Programme 2024 is an opportunity offered by the University of Surrey to undergraduate and postgraduate taught course applicants starting studies in September 2024 at the university. Selected students will receive a tuition fee reduction of GBP 5,000 (approximately ₹5,23,097).

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian national with a valid passport
  • hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree starting in September 2024 at the University of Surrey
  • be classified as an international student for fees purposes including EU students classified as international for fee purposes in the 2024-25 academic year
  • be self-funded and not currently receiving any other scholarship awards from the University of Surrey

 

Note:- Students receiving higher-value funding from other sources may be ineligible for this scholarship except for personal loans.

Benefits

Selected students will receive a tuition fee reduction of GBP 5,000 (approximately ₹5,23,097).

Note:- 

  • The award is granted for a single year and is not renewable for undergraduate students. 
  • The scholarship amount will not be disbursed as cash or used to offset other university charges such as accommodation fees, etc,.
  • The reduction will be automatically reflected in the applicants' first-year tuition fees after enrollment.
  • If a student chooses to pay their tuition fees in installments, the scholarship award will be deducted from the total annual tuition fee. The remaining balance will then be split into installments accordingly.

  • A photograph
  • A written or video profile

Eligible students can apply for the scholarship by following the below steps:-
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on the ‘Start Application’ button and fill in the required details in the online application form.
Step 3: Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions
  • The scholarship will be forfeited if an applicant defers their enrollment to a later term, even if they have paid the deposit as advised.
  • Students who withdraw or interrupt their studies after enrolling will be subject to the University Finance regulations in effect at that time, regarding any repayment or other requirements. 
  • Upon completion of their studies, students will be contacted by the University to follow up on the impact of the award on their career.
  • Successful applicants accepting the award are required to participate in events/communication activities promoting the scholarship program.
  • Following the completion of their studies, the University may also contact students to gather updates on how the award impacted or influenced their careers.
