To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have received an offer for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Sheffield
- be self-funded and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes
- choose the University of Sheffield as the firm or insurance choice before 4 PM (UK time) on 3 June 2026
Note:- All undergraduate degree courses are eligible except for Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive an award of £2,500 per year. It offers a maximum scholarship of £10,000 for four year programmes.
How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship using these steps:-
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note: If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Choose the University of Sheffield as your firm or insurance choice before 4.00pm (UK time) on 3 June 2026. This automatically makes you eligible for the scholarship. There is no need for a separate application.

Selection Criteria
Candidates will be selected through a competitive selection process, and not all applications will be successful. A panel of senior staff will select the strongest applications based on the following criteria:
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Applicants must demonstrate excellence and initiative through achievements in their educational, voluntary, or extracurricular activities.
- Applicants should demonstrate how their achievements connect to the chosen course at the University of Sheffield and how these experiences align with their future ambitions.
