About The Program
University of Otago International Partnership Scholarship 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the University of Otago to international students pursuing studies through one of its articulation partner agreements. Selected candidates will receive a scholarship of NZD 10,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- have completed secondary (high) school OR
- have completed studies at an institution that grants university entrance overseas
- enrol in a full-time undergraduate degree program at the university through one of the approved articulation partner agreements
Note:-
- Applicants must undertake a minimum of 4 semesters.
- This scholarship is for students who are pursuing studies on campus.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a one-year scholarship worth NZD 10,000. It will be payable as credit only towards tuition fees.

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-

Step 3: Submit the application to the respective Flemish host institution before the institution’s deadline.
Step 4: After getting preselected by the institution for the scholarship, complete your application on the Mobility-Online tool by following the necessary steps.
Step 5: The host institution will validate and submit the completed application.

- The University of Otago Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students 2025-26 will only be officially granted to a student once they have completed the formal enrollment process. Receiving an ‘Offer of Place’ does not constitute a formal award.
- Even if a student receives multiple ‘Offer of Place’ notifications for different programs of study, indicating acceptance and scholarship eligibility across those programs, only one scholarship will be awarded.
- If a student fails to begin their studies by the enrollment date specified in their ‘Offer of Place’ notification, the scholarship will become invalid.
- Should a student's enrollment date be moved to a later start date, their scholarship eligibility will be reassessed to ensure they still meet all requirements.
- Students who are financially sponsored by their home government or the New Zealand government are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
- Upon the termination of a student's enrollment for any reason, including withdrawal or stopping their studies, their entitlement to the scholarship funding will be immediately cancelled. The University may also require the student to repay any scholarship funds that have already been disbursed.
