About the Program

The University of Exeter invites applications for the University of Exeter PhD Global Excellence Studentship 2020-21 from PhD applicants. The studentship aims to support an excellent project connecting with, or across several disciplines. Selected scholars will get full tuition fees and an annual maintenance grant of GBP 15,009 (2019/20 rate).

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • Have a good first degree (at least 2.1, or international equivalent) in a relevant field of humanities
    • Have obtained or be currently working towards a Master's degree at Merit level, or international equivalent, in a relevant field of humanities
    • Be proficient in the English language
    • Have fee status classed as International
    • Full tuition fees
    • An annual maintenance grant of GBP 15,009 (2019/20 rate)
    • A full CV
    • Letter of application
    • Verified transcripts of academic qualifications
    • Research proposal with supervisor agreed in principle
    • Two academic references
    • Proof of English language proficiency
