The University of Calcutta invites applications for University of Calcutta Department of Botany Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled “Bioactivity-guided fractionation of selected Indian medicinal plants to isolate and characterize HCV RNA dependent RNA polymerase (NS5B) inhibitors". The selected fellows will receive fellowship as per the sanctioned project.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 32 years of age on 1st September 2020 with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Female candidates
- Hold an MSc degree in 1st division in any discipline of Life Sciences from any recognized board/University
- Have at least two years of experience in related research work
Experience in animal cell culture, molecular biology and microbiology is desirable.
Benefits The selected fellows will receive fellowship as per the sanctioned project.
