With Uni-GAUGE EMeD Entrance you can apply for Medical, Dental & Engineering Courses like : MBBS , BDS , BE / B.Tech in Uni-GAUGE member universities.

This is a computer based Test.

Uni-GAUGE is the test assessment platform of ERA Foundation.

ERA foundation – Educational Rating and Assessment Foundation, is a “not-for-profit” company incorporated under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956.

  • Candidates should have passed second Pre-University Course (PUC) or 10+2 Or Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
  • Diploma students looking for admission Engineering (Not Medical) streams are eligible.
  • Examination passed should be recognized by State / Central Government.
  • Candidates appearing for the above examinations in the current academic year are also eligible to apply.

What is the eligibility for Medical and Dental Courses?

Candidates who have passed in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects ,with English as a compulsory subject and having obtained or expected to obtain 50% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates) and have passed their PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year 2014 , 2015 and 2016 and shall attain the age of 17 years on or before 31.12.2016 i.e. Candidate should have born on or before 31st Dec, 1999 are eligible for Medical and Dental courses.

What is the eligibility for Engineering Courses?

Candidates who passed in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject, (Biology or Bio-technology instead of chemistry for BE/B-Tech, Bio Technology) or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subject, with English as a compulsory subject and having obtained or expected to obtain 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates) and have passed their PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year  2014,2015 and 2016 and have or shall attain the age of 17 years on or before 31.12.2016 i.e. Candidate should have born on or before 31st Dec 1999 are eligible for Engineering courses.

I have finished my PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination few years ago. Am I eligible for these courses?

You can apply for the notified courses only if you have passed your 10+2 or PUC or equivalent examination during the year 2014, 2015 and 2016.

What is the procedure of seat selection?

For the academic year 2016-2017, selection of seats for the Under Graduate courses in Member Participating Universities/Institutions will be as per their admission policies/ process declared by them from time to time – however will be based on score of the candidate in Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2016.
