UAS Bangalore Sharans Vedanth Scholarship 2018-19 invites applications from 1st-year students of B.Sc. (Agri.) studying in University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious and needy students of rural areas.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - The applicant must have taken admission in the 1st year of B.Sc. (Agri.) at UAS, Bengaluru.
- The applicant must be from Kannada medium and resident of the rural area.
- The applicant's family must be practising farmers.
- The applicant must have completed his/her class 1 to 10 education in the rural area.
- The annual family income must not be more than INR 1 Lakh.
Benefits The value of the scholarship will be from out of the interest and on the sum of INR 1.6 Lakh being equally divided for 12 months.
Documents - Copy of income certificate issued by the competent authority
- Latest copy of caste certificate if the candidate belongs to Vokkaliga Community (IIIA)
- Certificate from the notified and competent school authority to support the applicant's claim that he/she has completed class 1 to 10 level of education from a rural area
How can you apply? The eligible candidates can apply by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: The applicant can obtain the scholarship application form from the office of the Dean of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru.
Step 2: Fill the form and attach the required documents.
Step 3: The completed application form can be submitted to the Dean of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru.

Terms and Conditions
The scholarship will be renewed for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year on the basis of student's satisfactory academic progress, good conduct and regular attendance.
