Q. When are the application forms available?
A.Every year for the batch commencing in August, the application forms are available on the website from January / February.
Q. I have appeared for class XII exam this year. The results are not yet declared. Can I still fill up the form and appear in TMISAT?
A. Yes. You can fill the form leaving the space for class XII marks blank. The class XII marks are required to be intimated by fax or online as soon as the results are declared. Candidate will become ineligible in case he/she scores less than 60% marks in PCM and the Form fees in such cases will also be non-refundable.
Q. I do not have a printer. Can I get a printed form so that I can send it to TMI by mail?
A.No. Only online application form is available.
Q. I am appearing for IMUCET, do I still have to fill the TMI form?
A. Yes.
Q. What is the syllabus for TMISAT?
A. The test is based on 11th and 12th CBSE standard Physics and Mathematics syllabus as well as Analytical and Logical reasoning. As this is online objective type test, there are no previous year question banks available.
Q. How many questions are there in the test?
A. There are 80 questions altogether.
Q. Is there any negative marking?
A. There is a section with negative marking.
Q. What is the duration of TMISAT?
A.The test is of 1 hr. 30 min duration.
Q. What is the difference between the online test conducted in April/May and in June?
A. There is no difference in the tests. Merit list is common.
Q. Can I appear in TMISAT in April/May as well as in June?
A. No. You can appear in the test only once in a year.
Q. When are TMISAT results declared?
A. Marks scored in the test are seen immediately on the screen after completing the test.
