About The Program
TIFR Visiting Students Research Programme (VSRP) 2022 is an initiative by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics for students enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme. The VSRP-2022 will consist of a research project on astronomy and astrophysics, either theoretical, observational or computational, depending on project availability and student preferences. The selected students will receive a stipend of INR 7,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must be-
- An academically outstanding and highly motivated student with an interest in physics and astronomy
- Completing M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. or 4-year-B.Sc. degrees (in Physics, Astronomy, Applied Mathematics or Electronics) or B.Tech./B.E. degrees (in any stream) in 2023
Benefits
The selected students will receive a stipend of INR 7,000 per month.
Note - The hostel accommodation at the NCRA-TIFR campus during the programme will be provided subject to availability.
