About The Program

The University of Lincoln India Scholarship 2019 invites applications from postgraduate applicants. The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to support high-achieving postgraduate students from India.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must: 

  • Be an Indian citizen.
  • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for full-time master's programme by research or postgraduate taught programme from the University of Lincoln.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% overall grade. 
  • Meet the minimum requirements for English language proficiency, with IELTS score ranging from 6.0 to 7.0 or equivalent.
Benefits
  • The selected students will be eligible to receive a scholarship in the form of tuition fee waiver valued at GBP 5000.
  • International applicants displaying excellent academic or extracurricular record could also be eligible for a 50% fee waiver.

Important Dates

For courses commencing in February 2019, the applications will be received in two rounds -
Round 1: Monday 8th October 2018
Round 2: Monday 19th November 2018

For courses commencing in September 2019, the applications will be received in three rounds -
Round 1: Monday 11th February 2019​
Round 2: Monday 15th April 2019​​
Round 3: Monday 1st July 2019

Selection Criteria

The selection of applicants will be done on the basis of excellence in academia, extracurricular or personal endeavour. Also, the 300-word statement submitted by the applicant as part of the application form will play an important role in the final assessment of the applicants.

  • The scholarships provided by the University of Lincoln are in the form of fee waiver upon enrolment and no cash alternative is available.
  • The scholarships are non-transferrable.
  • A student can avail only one scholarship per course.
  • The university holds the right to withdraw the scholarship at any point and without any prior notice.
