The Skoll Scholarship 2019

The Skoll Scholarship is open to students pursuing entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. A candidate must fulfil the following conditions to be eligible:

• Be an MBA aspirant
• Candidates having a strong track record in social entrepreneurship
• Have spent at least 3 years in growing a social venture or playing a major part in leading a venture in an organisation or have brought positive changes as an entrepreneur
• Have personal qualities of a social entrepreneur.
• Have a need for financial support

At the end of the selection process, up to 5 scholarships will be awarded. The various benefits of the scholarship are:

• The scholarship will cover the entire fee for the MBA programme.
• Living expenses of at least GBP 14777 will be covered under the scholarship.
• Students will get opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought-leaders, and investors.
• Students will gain professional leadership and business skills.
• Opportunity to become a part of the Skoll Scholar community, a group of leaders who are positively impacting the world through innovation and systems change.

• All previous academic transcripts
• A one-page CV
• GMAT or GRE score report
• Mandatory essays
• Two professional/academic references
• Completed application form along with the application fee

Note: The application fee is GBP 150.

Follow the below steps-

Step 1: Visit the following link to open the online application portal.
Step 2: First-time users need to create a new account to fill the application form.
Step 3: After registering on the portal, fill-in all the required details.
Step 4: Upload the essays document.
Step 5: Submit the application.
Step 6: The completed applications will be reviewed by the selection committee to shortlist candidates for personal interview.
Step 7: The final offer will be made after the completion of the interviews.

Note: The candidates are advised to allow themselves around 1 week to write the scholarship essays.

• Shortlisting for interview: 1 February 2019
• Final decision: 22 March 2019
