To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be Indian citizens residing in India, Nepal, Bangladesh OR
- be a foreign national currently studying in India, Nepal, Bangladesh
- be studying in Class 12 in a recognised institution/school OR
- have passed Class 12 and is currently in a gap year
- be willing to apply to one of the undergraduate courses* in one of the following universities in the United States:
- Augustana College, Illinois
- Beloit College, Wisconsin
- Centre College, Kentucky
- Cornell College, Mount Vernon, Iowa
- Cottey College, Missouri
- Dickinson College, Pennsylvania
- Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania

- Lynn University, Florida
- Muhlenberg College, Pennsylvania
- Oberlin College, Ohio
- Ohio Wesleyan University, Ohio
- Trinity College, Connecticut
- Wheaton College, Massachusetts
- demonstrate financial ability to cover travel and basic living expenses in the United States

Benefits
Selected students will receive financial aid which will be utilised towards their tuition fees. The amount awarded varies with full scholarships covering between 75% and 100% of tuition costs, and partial scholarships covering 30% to 90%.
They will also be welcomed into a vibrant community of scholars and gain access to various resources to support their academic journey.
How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following the below steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile Number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply Now' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Click on the 'PAY REGISTRATION FEE VIA UPI' and click on it to pay the registration fees.
Step 5: Fill in the required details, upload the required documents (if applicable) and submit.

Selection Criteria
Prospective scholars will be evaluated based on the following attributes:-
- Creative problem-solving ability in both academic and non-academic contexts
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cooperation skills
- Demonstrated interest in attending our partner liberal arts colleges
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection of registered candidates will be done in the following four stages:
Stage 1: In the first stage, candidates will be required to take an 'Online Critical Thinking Test'. Top performers in the assessment will be selected for the next level.
Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be provided with detailed information about the available scholarships and invited to indicate their preferred college and course.
Stage 3: Shortlisted students will receive application fee waivers for their chosen colleges and be asked to submit their completed application forms.
Stage 4: Students shortlisted after submitting their complete college applications will be invited to a group interview with The Next Genius Foundation and a college admissions officer.
