- The scholarship is only for students who have achieved the required grades outlined in the conditional or unconditional offer letter.
- The scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other scholarship or bursary.
- Late applications for the scholarship will be considered on a case by case basis.
- The University holds the right to withdraw any scholarship at any point prior to acceptance of the offer to study.
- Any decision regarding the scholarship made by Buckinghamshire New University will be final.
- The scholarship will be withdrawn if a student is suspended from the University or if he/she has acted fraudulently.

About The Program
The New Bucks University invites applications for the Gateway Scholarship 2019-20 from undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. The scholarship is offered with the aim to provide financial support towards living expenses to students when they first come to the university. The university wants to reduce the burden of students in terms of their living expenses.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must-
- Have a passport domiciled to the country in question
- Have applied on Buckinghamshire New University’s website or have selected Buckinghamshire New University as their firm choice institution via UCAS application
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time undergraduate, undergraduate with foundation or postgraduate course for September 2019
- Meet the requirements for the relevant course including interview, health requirements, audition, etc
- Meet the English language requirements for the intended course
- Have applied to live in Brook Street Halls of Residence via the Buckinghamshire New University Accommodation Office
Benefits
New students entering University accommodation at Brook Street Halls (standard room only) will receive financial support towards the living expenses.
Students will receive the following benefits-
- GBP 250 cash added into student's bank account in October 2019
- GBP 250 as reduction on the cost of halls in October 2019
- GBP 250 as reduction on the cost of halls in January 2020
- GBP 250 as reduction on the cost of halls in April 2020

Note: Before applying for the scholarship, the candidates must have applied to the university and should hold a conditional or unconditional offer letter.
