About The Program
The Doon School Scholarship Examination (DSSE) is an annual entrance exam conducted by The Doon School (an all-boys boarding school in Dehradun). The scholarship exam is open to male students entering Classes 7 or 8 whose families might struggle to pay the school fees.
Selected meritorious male candidates will stand a chance to study at The Doon School on a scholarship. The Scholarship Committee will determine the amount of financial aid based on the documents provided by the parents' of the applicants'.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a male student
- be an Indian national
- be between the ages of 11 to 13 years old as on 30th September 2026
- be entering Class 7 or 8 in the upcoming academic year
Benefits
Selected students will stand a chance to study at the Doon School. In addition, scholarships awarded will range from covering 20% to 120% of educational costs.
Note:- The financial aid will be determined by the Scholarship Committee based on a review of the documents submitted by the parents.

How can you apply?
Parents' eligible applicants can register for the entrance exam by following the steps mentioned below:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note: If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Register Now' and click on it.
To fill the offline application form:
- Click on the 'Download the form' and click on it.
- Fill in the required details, attach a copy of birth certificate and send it through email at: admissions@doonschool.com
To fill the online application form:
- Click on 'FILL GOOGLE FORM' at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
- Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.
Note:-
- Students are required to make an online payment of ₹100 for the application through the online payment gateway on the left-hand side or by scanning the provided QR code on the right-hand side of the page.
- Kindly send the snapshot of the payment receipt along with the duly filled Registration Form and a copy of the Birth Certificate to us via email at hoa@doonschool.com.

- Upon selection, candidates become eligible to take the main Doon School Admissions Test. However, while parents are exempt from paying The Doon School's registration fees for the main admissions test, they are still responsible for travel expenses incurred to reach the nearest examination centre.
- The DSSE tests-core skills like English, Mathematics, Case Study analysis, and Reasoning abilities. These skills are foundational for various academic subjects offered at The Doon School.
