About The Program

The Department of Education, Tibetan Children's Educational and Welfare Fund invites applications for The Dalai Lama Trust Undergraduate Scholarship 2020 from undergraduate degree applicants. The selected fellows will receive a variable award.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must -

  • Be pursuing an undergraduate degree program
  • Have consistently performed well in academics but couldn’t score well in the exam (Recommendation from school required), OR
  • Be responsible, sincere, honest and bearing good moral conduct (Recommendation from school required), OR
  • Be an orphan, semi-orphan or belong to destitute family (Recommendation from Tibetan Settlement Office required)
Benefits

The selected fellows will receive a variable award.

  • Completed Form A and Form B
  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Best Boy/Girl certificate, if applicable

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 3: Download Form A and Form B and fill the necessary details.
Step 4: Upload all required documents in the application.

Terms and Conditions
  • Applicant & his/her parents must have a Green Book (GB) and the GB contribution must be paid till 2019.
  • If the applicant's parents are in Tibet/deceased/separated, the authenticity of such information must be mentioned in "Form-A" by the concerned TibetanSettlement Officer.
  • Applicant must have a valid Registration Certificate (RC).
  • This scholarship doesn't include vocational courses.
