Technical Education Scholarships Scheme for Degree Level, Himachal Pradesh 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational & Industrial Training, Government of Himachal Pradesh, to provide financial assistance to the students studying undergraduate, or postgraduate degree in subjects related to Engineering and Technology discipline. The scholarship will be awarded based on merit and merit-cum-means. The selected candidates will receive up to ₹400 per month till the course completion.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be domiciled in Himachal Pradesh OR
- be a ward of Himachal Pradesh government employee
- be studying an undergraduate, or postgraduate degree in Engineering and Technology including Architecture or any other equivalent courses approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
- have secured 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination, conducted by a recognised board/university
- have an annual parent(s)/guardian(s) income of not more than ₹1,500 from all sources (in case of merit-cum-means basis)
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship grant in the following manner:
- Students pursuing postgraduation and degree courses will receive ₹200.
- Students pursuing a postgraduate degree and belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Antyodaya families [Below Poverty Line (BPL)] will receive ₹400.
Documents - A passport-size photograph
- Aadhaar card
- Domicile certificate
- Marksheet/certificates of previous qualifying examination
- Caste certificate duly signed by the Magistrate (first-class) or Tehsildar
- Income certificate of the parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by an officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar
- First page of the student's bank account passbook
How can you apply? Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Applicant Corner' and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and merit/merit-cum-means.

- The scholarship shall be tenable for the full course duration subject to the satisfactory performance of the student.
- The renewal of the scholarship will be done based on the recommendation of the principal or other authorised officer of the institution where the student is studying.
- If the students fail to be prompted to the next class, then the scholarship will be discontinued.
