About The Program
The Contemporary Taiwan Fellowship at Stanford University’s Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC) offers outstanding scholars the opportunity to conduct advanced research on contemporary Taiwan. This fellowship supports individuals whose academic work focuses on Taiwan’s political, economic, or social developments, as well as its international relations and cross-strait dynamics. The selected fellows will receive the award of up to USD 30,000 (approx. ₹26,62,923) along with other benefits.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, applicants must:-
- be academics, researchers, or professionals working on contemporary Taiwan-related research
- hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent professional experience
- have a strong research record in relevant fields such as political science, economics, sociology, or international studies
- be proficient in English
Note:- Preference is given to scholars whose research contributes to understanding Taiwan’s domestic and global developments.
