About The Program

University of Queensland, Australia invites applications for Synthesis of Biomimetic Materials - PhD Scholarship 202021 from new and currently enrolled students of the University for Higher Degree by research programs. This scholarship aims to give an excellent platform to the PhD candidates in the research domain of biomimetic materials. The value of this scholarship is AUD 28,092 per annum and that is tax-free.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs at the University of Queensland
  • Be newly or currently enrolled students into PhD programs at the University of Queensland
  • Be Australian or international graduates  of high scholarly calibre as evidenced by a high-Grade Point Average (GPA)
  • Hold a first-class Honours degree or equivalent Master’s degree 
  • Have a strong mathematical aptitude
  • Have a passion for global sustainability

AUD 28,092 per annum for a maximum duration of three years, with a possibility of two 6 months extension

Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates will be done by the selection committee, based on the academic merit, research capability and research interest in the particular project.

Terms and Conditions
  • All the domestic and international students meeting the eligibility criteria are eligible for this scholarship.
  • The applying candidate should have a background in physical organic and/or polymer chemistry, with experience in structural and material characterisation.
